The social evolution of technology integrating into commerce is upon us and there is no holding back now. Instead of owning a car, I now rent a zip car. Instead of booking a hotel, I go on air b and b. Every industry is fair game to be apart of this mind gripping evolution.
One of the last industries in my opinion to welcome real technological innovation is the fitness space.
Currently I am a member of one gym and this gym is located in Chicago Illinois. I like the gym; it has all the equipment I need to get a good workout.
Being a member though of one gym has in my opinion held me back from trying new activities and meeting new people. I am though locked into my current gym mainly due to convenience when it comes to time and efficiency within work schedule and also a contract
My problems are I really want to try Cross Fit and I also want to do a specialized Yoga classes but with constraints due to time and money for all these activities I am forced to live under the one size fits all gym membership.
I am sure other people are experiencing these same issue’s and aren’t happy about it. Through a combination of technology and evolution I hope there is an answer to solve this problem. Only time will tell the next TechCrunch article that comes out about a start-up solving this exact problem. Time will tell.
